Nowchem was proud to host a fundraiser Bacon ‘N’ Eggs barbeque breakfast early morning Tuesday the 1st of August to help the managing director, John Lamont, raise vital funding for the annual Variety Bash.
Joined with John Lawernce and Dianne Wilbraham, known as the F1-11 crew, the three will be taking across Australia in the 1969 Ford Fairlane car to raise awareness and secure essential funding for Variety Australia – the children’s charity, dedicated to helping give kids in need a fair go.
The 2023 Variety B to B Bash runs from Bathurst, New South Wales, to Batavia Cost in Western Australia from the 6th of August till the 16th of August. With 5,500km to cover, the F1-11 Bash Crew will be stopping in at local schools along the way and donating much-needed items and equipment to support their learning and growth.
To help support the F1-11 crew, Nowchem hosted a Bacon ‘N’ Eggs barbeque will the whole team coming together to enjoy some breakfast and support the cause. A raffle was also drawn with all items being donated by the company. All the funding raised by the Nowchem community will be matched by the company and will directly go back to supporting F1-11’s commitment to the Variety Bash. Together as a community, they were able to help donate $1,500 towards the 2023 Variety B to B Bash.
John Lamont spoke to the Nowchem community early Tuesday morning to thank the team. “I just want to say thank you to you all for coming by, grabbing a bacon and egg roll, and helping me raise money for such an important cause. Without the support of this team and Nowchem, I wouldn’t be able to raise half as much!”
